Event attendees will enjoy live music from the Clive Stuart Band using a state-of-the-art sound system contributed by Love the Neighborhood, munching on delicious BBQ grilled by Andy Graham himself, owner of McClouds Family Restaurant and chatting with Mayor Patty Lent and Chief of Police Steve Strachan about their vision for the future of Bremerton. Tour the vendor tables to connect with local resources while playing mini-games. The fire department will join the party with a tour of a firetruck and an ambulance! Last week, on January 17, 2018, youthages 5-18 became culinary artists cooking healthy food while learning about nutrition. This was all done right in their own backyard at the Nollwood Community Center in Bremerton. Thanks to a new program called, “Kids Cook!”, young Nollwood residents won’t have to travel far for this home economics lesson. The health-oriented cooking class is held on select Wednesdays during the Nollwood Boys and Girls Club from January 2018 thru June 2018. Kids Cook! is made possible by a $5,000 grant from Amerigroup Washington and the support of the Boys and Girls Club of South Puget Sound.
